I taught myself how to make a repeating pattern in order to do surface design and textile projects. As of right now, my mother and niece- both whom are excellent seamstresses- have made several blankets and clothing/outfits made from the fabric I’ve dreamed up and designed. It is incredibly satisfying to see my own ideas and artwork as real, tangible products that others use for their own creations.
